About Hurley Haus Creative

Hello! We are Cam and Maggie Hurley and we are a queer creative design team focused on promoting and celebrating queer artists! We sell handmade items, and thrift/vintage clothing. Our passion for creativity extends to jewelry, bookmarks, buttons, stickers and various curated vessels as well as photography prints created by us. We create from a place of celebrating our queerness together as well as our individual journeys of identity, love, radical empathy and progress over perfection.

Our story started all the way back in May of 2011 and we haven't spent many days since then apart. While learning how to communicate, work as a team and grow through what we go through has, at times been challenging, loving each other never has.

Cam has come out many times over the course of their journey of becoming. Bisexual, Lesbian, Transgender, Gay, Queer and Non-Binary. They sit somewhere in the middle of the beautiful mess that is identity.

Maggie however, has always known herself to be the sapphic loving lesbian. She has embraced Cam through every season...loving and creating through every step in there journey together.

Animal Rescue (see LOGO), Foodie exploration, Camping and bingeing their favorite shows together are among their other interests outside of HHC artistic endeavors.

Maggie has been a stylist at H2O Salon in Urbana since 2012 - committed to supporting our local Urbana small businesses and being an Ambassador for new residents.

Cam holds a Bachelor in Arts with Emphasis in Ceramics and Photography. They Design Graphics for two local businesses in Champaign Urbana while also working in various ways to advocate for the local Trans and Queer community.
